Background of SPTC

Saic Professional Training Center (SPTC), an institution under Saic Group, stands as one of Bangladesh’s leading private Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and skills development institutes. Since its inception in 2002, Saic Group has been a leading private organization dedicated to advancing Bangladesh’s socio-economic development. The group operates across multiple sectors, including Technical & Vocational Education and Training, Medical, Health & Nursing Education, and Agricultural Education and Training.

SPTC is committed to enhancing livelihoods by addressing unemployment and poverty through high-quality technical and vocational skills training. As a Registered Training Organization (RTO) under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) and the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA), SPTC offers a wide range of job-oriented courses accredited by these bodies. Key programs include Sewing Machine Operation, Electrical Installation, CNC Lathe Operation, Welding, Lathe Machine Maintenance, Consumer Electronics, Plumbing, Masonry, Steel Binding, Marble and Tiles Fitting, IT Support, Housekeeping, and Pedagogy/Training of Trainers (ToT).

Recognized as a Competency-Based Training & Assessment (CBT&A) center, Certified Trainer and Assessor Training center, and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) center, SPTC adheres to the National Technical & Vocational Qualification Framework (NTVQF). This ensures that its training and certifications meet global standards, enabling graduates to secure employment opportunities worldwide. By maintaining rigorous quality standards and leveraging the CBT&A methodology, SPTC continues to empower individuals and contribute to Bangladesh’s socio-economic progress.
